Introduction Advances in the field of scientific knowledge and technology has lead to improvement and better result of autologous tooth transplantation, which is the surgical movement in one individual of a vital or endodontically treated tooth from its original location in the mouth to another site 1 .The earliest reports of tooth transplantation involve slaves in ancient Egypt who were forced to give their teeth to their pharaohs.
